Sudan: Clashes between the army and paramilitary forces, explosions rock the capital

Khartoum: (Banda Urdu) As a result of clashes between the army and paramilitary forces in Sudan, the capital Khartoum echoed with explosions.

According to Arab media, heavy shootings and explosions were heard in Sudan’s capital, Khartoum. The shooting occurred near the Sudanese army headquarters and the office of the Ministry of Defense in Khartoum.

According to media reports, gunshots were also heard near the Sudanese presidential palace in Khartoum and smoke was also seen rising from Khartoum Airport.

Sudan’s paramilitary rapid support forces say that the Sudanese army has attacked one of our camps.

On the other hand, the Sudanese army says that paramilitary rapid force personnel are trying to occupy the military headquarters.

Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah, the spokesman of the Sudanese army, says that paramilitary Rapid Force personnel have attacked military camps in Khartoum and other places.

According to foreign media reports, cannons, and armored vehicles have also been deployed in various cities of Sudan.

It should be remembered that two days ago, due to the tension between the two main factions of the armed forces in Sudan, the country’s political parties also came into action. A committee consisting of ex-servicemen was formed to consider the crisis.
