According to the details, 3 holidays are given by the government every year on Eid-ul-Fitr, but this time there is a possibility of 4 to 5 holidays on Eid.
The cabinet division has started the work regarding the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays in the country, the proposal for giving 4-5 holidays for Eid will be given to the Prime Minister’s House while the final decision will be taken by the Prime Minister next week.
If Eid falls on Friday, there will be holidays from April 20 to 23, while if it falls on Saturday, April 22, there will be holidays from April 20 to 24.
The Cabinet Division will issue the notification after the formal approval of the Prime Minister.
On the other hand, the Secretary General of Rawit Hilal Research Council, Khalid Ijaz Mufti, says that the meeting of the Hilal Committee will be held on the evening of Thursday, April 20 to see the moon of Shawwal, but we feel that the moon cannot be seen on Thursday, so the 30 days of Eid will be completed. Saturday will be on April 22, 2023.
