Do you feel prepared for the upcoming Eid festivities? Eid ul Fitr is coming up in a few days, and Muslims are already in the midst of their celebrations. Eid is all about getting together with friends and family and exchanging warm smiles and hugs. The festival, however, does not finish here! You have so many more options for this Eid right now! Do you wish to learn your options?
Take a look below:
1. Start to Plan in advance
Make a little effort and create a gathering plan in advance. You should attend the family gathering one week beforehand to make plans for Eid. The other individuals can be invited in the afternoon or asked to join you for supper elsewhere. Prepare dinner with delectable Eid recipes.
2. Plan to Clean and decorate the home
Therefore, ensure that your home is spotless and freshly painted, try to give your entire house a bright appearance, and put new mattresses and bedding outside to air out because everyone will be coming into your home for dinners and gatherings.
Bring some banners and streamers inside your house along with some balloons, lights, and other decorations. So that everyone may hum or sing along while working, play an Islamic song on the CD in your home.
3. Try to make special food
Try to include dishes and recipes on your menu that your family does not typically consume. It would be significantly sour and sweet. It must be distinct from typical meals.
4. Set up a family gift exchange
Each person should bring out a Kufi with the names of all their relatives on it. Whoever chooses a person’s name must buy or manufacture that person a blessing. There is one catch: Babies must receive benefits from everyone.
5. Let your kids Make Gifts for each other
The majority of the random stuff the kids discover while cleaning the house for Eid can be collected in a box. They can then use these items to create lovely yet significant Eid blessings.
6. Buy some new Clothes
For children, Eid is not complete unless they are spared from being forced to purchase new clothing. You could allow them to purchase the Shalwar Kameez, suit, or thobe that they adore wearing on Eid festivities. Make them buy something new by investing.
7. Do these as you plan for new clothes
Gather all of your used clothing, toys, and equipment and have them donated to a mosque, charitable organization, or neighboring home to add a festive touch to the Eid celebration for sick children.
8. Wash Your Car
Make sure your car is tidy and prepared because you’ll be hanging out with friends and going to our friends’ homes. At least three days prior to Eid, deliver your vehicle to a car wash facility.
9. During Eid prayer, look for anyone who is alone and invite them over.
Eid is all about spreading the love and blessings of brotherhood, therefore look for lonely people to invite over, finding those who have no one to celebrate Eid with, and giving them a warm welcome.
10. Provide Homeless People with Extra Eid Food
Spending your one day off at a homeless shelter, or food bank, or participating in donation activities will make your Eid even more memorable.
