1. Karachi Grammar School
Karachi Grammar School is the first institution on our list. In the center of Karachi, Karachi Grammar School offers cost-effective, high-quality instruction to the general public. The first priest of Karachi, the Reverend Henry Brereton, founded it in 1847. KGS is the second-oldest school in South Asia and one of the oldest institutions in Karachi.
The school currently has three major locations where it is open. The initial school is recognized as a historic structure and is located in Saddar, the center of Karachi.
2. Karachi American School
One of Karachi’s premier training institutions is Karachi American School. In 1953, it was established. The school currently offers Pre-Nursery through Grade 12 programs. Karachi American School, which was initially established to service American and other expatriate children, has grown into a renowned educational facility that uses an American college preparatory curriculum.
3. The City School
The City school. It is one of Pakistan’s most prestigious and well-known institutions. In 1978, the City School first welcomed students. One of Pakistan’s largest private school networks, The City School has locations in all of the main cities. Over 150,000 students are presently enrolled in 153 schools across 49 cities, out of more than 500 owned and franchised schools.
The city school is working hard to develop a modern educational system in order to satisfy the shifting demands of the educational world. The knowledge- and skill-based curriculum, which was adapted from the UK national curriculum, directs students from early childhood through the Cambridge International Examinations (for the 16 and 18-year-old age group), preparing them for the IGCSE, O, and A-Level exams.
4. British Overseas School
Pre-Nursery through IGCSE classes are available at the British Overseas School (BOS), a selective coeducational British institution in Karachi, Pakistan. BOS was founded in 1958 and is a charitable company. The school’s personnel is renowned for being highly qualified, and it uses the British curriculum.
BOS has developed into a completely integrated Primary and Secondary School that follows the British system and leads to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A Level Years 7–13. The secondary institution is a privately owned and authorized Edexcel Examination Center.
The British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi, the Chairperson of UKAP, the Director of the British Council, the Principal, and four elected parent representatives are all permanent members of the board of 12 directors that oversees the school.
5. Education Bay School
One of Karachi’s original institutions is Education Bay school. They are renowned for their excellent educational program, knowledgeable personnel, and lovely campus. The “steps to success” methodology is used at the institution. Steps to Success are remedial courses created to assist the child, dispel common misunderstandings about a certain subject, and assist the student in developing a deeper grasp of that subject.
