According to Sharjeel Memon, the information minister for Sindh, the provincial government is continually keeping an eye on the cyclone. This time, cloudbursts are a concern. Previously, it faced Karachi, but it is currently facing Kati Bandar, Thatta, Sajawal, and Badin.
Sharjeel Memon added that Sindh’s Chief Minister has visited the coastal regions and spoken with the relevant officials. High waves will likely flood many villages, and residents of Sajawal, Thatta, and Badin are being moved.
According to him, construction projects are ongoing in several areas of Karachi, and people should stay inside during a downpour because kutcha houses are more likely to sustain damage in other cities.
