Key Responsibilities:
- Build scalable, highly available, robust systems and ensure their continuous delivery
- Take part in the whole feature development process: from the inception of ideas to deployment and maintenance
- Identify and uphold full-stack engineering best practices
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
- Work with modern libraries and tooling
- Monitor performance, watch for traffic drops related to usability problems & rectify the issues
Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
- 3+ years of experience developing web applications using GO and Javascript
- Deep knowledge of SQL Database and NoSQL Databases (Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra, Elastic, MongoDB, Redis)
- Vast experience working with Docker or similar technologies, GIT, CI/CD and writing unit/integration tests
- Strong analytical problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with strong initiative, quality deliverable and ability to work under pressure

Front-end Developer:
Client is seeking a creative, talented, and experienced front-end developer to join the Digital Marketing and Technology team. As a member of the team, you will work collaboratively with project managers, web designers, content publishers, and internal stakeholders to design and enhance our corporate web site and intranet site.
Responsibilities
- Update externally-facing sites in a CMS environment using built-in components and front-end coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Build and code marketing campaign sites in a CMS environment based on designs from third-party agencies or in-house creative teams
- Perform day-to-day publishing work on externally-facing sites
- Enhance and evolve existing web properties based on best practices and user-centered design
- Test, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and defects, including browser compatibility issues
- Engage with internal stakeholders to gather project requirements and present solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Strong HTML and CSS experience
- JavaScript and jQuery
- High level of proficiency in Creative Cloud (particularly Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, In Vision, and Figma
- Experience with Drupal content management system preferred
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree – preferably BFA or BA in Graphic Design, Web/Interactive Design, or related field of study.

This is a volunteer hybrid role for a Web Developer. The Web Developer will be responsible for both front-end and back-end web development, web design, programming, and web development tasks. This role is based in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some remote work.
