The eagerly anticipated follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is titled Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. In the follow-up, Miles Morales, aka Spider-Man, and Gwen Stacy, aka Spider-Woman, embark on a brand-new journey across a Spider-People-filled multiverse.
Actors Shameik Moore (who plays Miles Morales), Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacy), and Luna Lauren Vélez (who plays Miles’ mother Rio Morales) spoke with MySA earlier this month about the value of diversity in cinema and what they would likely discover if they travelled into a superhero multiverse in real life.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse premieres at theaters nationwide on Friday, June 2.
