In order to commemorate the excitement of the Champions League final match between Inter Milan and Manchester City on June 10 in Istanbul, Les Benjamins and Mastercard have announced a collaboration on a creative collection.
The streetwear company from Istanbul worked with the international brand to create a new capsule collection that was motivated by the recognisable colours and logo of Mastercard. Bünyamin Aydn, the founder and creative director of Les Benjamins, emphasised that the new collection of T-shirts, shorts, jackets, trousers, and accessories was inspired by the Mastercard logo and the priceless rhetoric that the brand has employed for 25 years.
‘PASSION AND Optimism’
The ‘Priceless’ (invaluable) collection, which takes its name from one of the top payment method companies’ motto, aims to combine comfort and convenience. According to the collection, Mastercard, which describes itself as a human-centered technology company, symbolises passion and optimism in its logo design with the colours red and orange.
“REpresents ISTANBUL AND ITS CULTURAL WEALTH”
The promotional event was attended by Yasemin Develiolu, Vice President of Communication and Marketing for Mastercard Eastern Europe, and Bünyamin Aydn, founder and creative director of Les Benjamins. Develiolu stated, “We are pleased to have introduced this capsule collection, which we believe represents Istanbul and its cultural diversity, both in the excitement of hosting the final match that will take place in Istanbul and in the 25th anniversary of the Priceless Platform. Every one of our partnerships reflects the essence of our company, our creativity, and the shared values between us.
Aydn stated that he has played football and other sports since he was a young child and added, “We enjoyed this cooperation with Mastercard. With its fusion of Les Benjamins’ local stories, philosophy influenced by deeply ingrained cultural influences, luxury street fashion identity, and brand colours and logo, we have no doubt that this new collection will be well-received.
