Interior Minister's conduct criticized by PPP MNA

PPP MNA criticises the behaviour of the Interior Minister

ISLAMABAD: Qadir Mandokhail, an MNA for the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), stated on Saturday that if the PMLN was unable to manage the situation, it should transfer the interior and finance ministries to other coalition partners.

In an interview with a TV news station, he claimed that the PMLN ministers had managed the IMF agreement and the Imran Khan’s arrest situation poorly. He continued, “The Punjab IGP should also be penalised for failing to detain Imran Khan. Despite the fact that her uncle was the nation’s prime minister, Maryam Nawaz allegedly claimed it wasn’t their administration. He continued, “People cannot be duped by such rhetoric.

He also criticised Ishaq Dar, the finance minister, for telling the Senate that he would “not compromise on the country’s nuclear programme.” Mandokhail demanded an investigation into him and vowed that the PPP would not back down regarding the nation’s nuclear and missile projects.

The Punjab IGP and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah came under fire from the PPP MNA for how they handled the detention of Imran Khan. I advised Rana Sanaullah to act prudently, but he was unable to control even one individual, and things got worse.

Mandokhail responded, “It is good that Nawaz Sharif is not coming back to Pakistan as the PPP is getting stronger on the political front,” in response to a query about his departure.

He was also against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf being banned. (PTI). “We must fight them politically; I am not in favour of banning any political party.”

He added that Miftah Ismail was not being punished for speaking out against government policies because he was Shehbaz Sharif’s business associate.
