In order to find high-potential app developers, studios, and enterprises looking to develop and grow their operations, Google has opened its first-ever App Growth Lab in Pakistan.

The intense teaching and support phases of the four-month course give participants the chance to learn from Google professionals in fields including Ads, AdMob, Firebase, gTech, and Play as well as business pioneers.

The program’s debut signifies Google’s commitment to expanding Pakistan’s app market on a local and international level.

The project, according to Farhan S. Qureshi, Google’s Regional Director for Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, underscores Google’s commitment to fostering the long-term development of the nation’s developer ecosystem. He continued, “We hope to support Pakistani developers in their pursuit of building outstanding applications for the globe through our ongoing efforts.

The four main pillars of the App Growth Lab project are construction, development, launch, and scale. The construct component enables participants to recognize the worldwide app and gaming opportunities and comprehend several levers to establish the overall business strategy.

The development component uses best-in-class technology and adopts a user-centric attitude to help participants create successful apps and video games.

Participants can learn to launch winning tactics, create monetization models, and make the most of Google’s data capabilities by utilizing the launch component to achieve measurable growth.

The scalability component, in addition, teaches participants how to use market and platform diversification methods to make their app available to a global audience.

The four-month training will begin in June and last until August. Interested organizations, app developers, and studios have until May 22, 2023, to submit an application. The CEO of Game District, Saad Hameed, praised the program and emphasized that it was one of the most insightful programs they had ever attended. It covered all facets of the mobile gaming industry, from the fundamentals to the more complex, and enabled Game District to optimize the performance of their games by putting into practice all the intuitive knowledge they had acquired.

A report by the private market intelligence platform Data Darbar claims that Pakistan’s app market grew by 35% in 2022, with 3.52 billion downloads. The industry’s expansion in the nation is anticipated to be further accelerated by Google’s App Growth Lab.
