The Europa League final between Roma and Sevilla takes place tonight.
The Spanish team eliminated Manchester United in the round of eight and will play Roma, managed by former Old Trafford manager Jose Mourinho, who won the Europa Conference League title the previous year. With Sevilla having won the Europa League championship on each of their six appearances and Mourinho defending a record of five victories from five European finals, something will have to give.
The winners will earn a spot in the Champions League for the following season; neither will be eligible based on league standing. Regardless of the outcome of tonight’s game, Roma will have continental football to look forward to next season while Sevilla risk missing out entirely on Europe. At 8 o’clock, the game begins at the Puskas Arena in Budapest. Anthony Taylor, an English referee, will oversee the contest.
Additionally, the broadcaster decided to make the competition available, so fans will be able to watch the final live on BT Sport for free. Virgin Media, btsport.com, the BT Sport YouTube channel, and the BT Sport App for mobile or TV are all places where BT Sport subscribers can watch the competition.
The match will be broadcast live on BT Sport 1 and BT Ultimate, as well as free on TV, online, or on a mobile device at www.btsport.com/final, on the BT Sport YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/btsport, and via the BT Sport App for devices like the PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Samsung smart TVs, Apple TV, Android TV, and Amazon Fire. The final will also be broadcast on channel 532 of Virgin Media’s TiVo, TV360, and Stream platforms (HD).
